What Format Are Your Films Available In?
-
You can buy our films on either VHS tape or DVD, in both the PAL and NTSC formats. Please make sure you select the correct format when you order.

Are Your DVDs True Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound?
-
Yes. And to the best of our knowledge, we're the only people who produce freestyle road riding films who do. You haven't experienced anything until you've 'felt' a bike stoppie right over your head...

Is Your Server Secure?
-
Yes it is. However, being a very small company, all of the orders we take online are processed manually so please leave up to 24 hours for confirmation of your order.

Is Stunt Riding Really As Dangerous As You Say?
-
Of course it is. If you ride a bike you'll already know that sooner or later you will fall off. In the same way racers push their machines to the limits, and sometimes over them, so do stunt riders. There isn't a single stunt rider in the entire world who hasn't come off at some point. We can't stop you giving it a go if you really want to, but you have to accept the risks. Ironically, you have to use your intelligence when stunting - it's the only thing that may save your life...

Can Anyone Be In Your Films?
-
Technically yes. If you want to submit your footage to us for possible inclusion then click here. Please be aware, however, that the only remuneration we can offer at the moment for footage we eventually use is that of fame. We're hoping to offer financial rewards for submitted footage in the not too distant future, but at this precise moment in time we simply haven't got the funds.
-
We also ask that any footage you may send is yours and not copyrighted to anyone else. Nor are we interested in footage where riders are permanently maimed, disabled or killed. As far as we're concerned, that's simply not entertainment.

Isn't Not Paying For Footage Taking Advantage Of Rider's Generosity?
-
Yes. There's no other way of saying it. Anyone submitting footage should be paid if it's used - unfortunately we're in no position to do so at the moment. Hopefully, as this site grows, riders will come to see that our blatant honesty regarding this is because we're not here to milk the scene and rip people off - after all, we're as part of it as anyone else - and we will promote any and all riders, whether they're in our films or not.

How Do We Get You To Film Us?
-
First of all, you're going to have to live in the UK. Although we will be travelling around Europe, we'll be doing it on the tightest of budgets (so that's no eating for the week again then) and will probably not be able to get to you. We'd also need to see some footage or pictures of you playing to make sure you're worth filming. That may sound callous, but experience has taught us that there are a lot of people who think they can stunt who simply can't.

Are The Guys Behind IQ 18 Films Also Stunt Riders?
-
Yes we are, which is the main reason we're so damn honest. As we said above, we're just as part of the scene as you are - the only difference between us is, because we're also highly experienced photographers and graphic artists within the motorcycle world, we decided we could document the scene better than anyone else and now we're putting our money where our mouths are and proving it.

Who Are The Guys Behind IQ 18 Films?
-
Originally that was Veggie Dave and Nik Samson. If you read Streetfighters and/or BSH magazines then you'll know who they are. They've been heavily involved in the customised bike scene, both 'fighters and chops, professionally and as fans for many, many years.
- The reason they originally started IQ 18 Films was purely to embarrass the so-called 'professional film makers' behind the official Streetfighters videos as they felt they failed completely to represent the stunt scene in the UK - Streetfighters magazine may have employed them, but no one from the magazine (including the magazine's editor, Nik Samson) had any input in the final video that you may have bought. This is how the unbelievably cheap 'Hand Job' video, and the slightly less cheap, and far superior, 'Hand Job II - The Second Coming!' video came into existence. Both of these tapes were filmed on the cheapest analogue cameras and edited on the cheapest suite IQ 18 Films could get, because that was all they could afford - yet they've proven to be the two most popular tapes Streetfighters magazine has ever sold.
- As it was pretty obvious they'd managed to do something right when they made these films (much to their continuing surprise in all honesty), the next logical step was to take their film making further - buy professional film equipment, buy a professional editing suite and do the job properly.
- IQ 18 Films was the culmination of their passion for freestyle road riding; their belief that they could produce films that truly captured the intensity of freestyle road riding better than anyone else.
- It's now three years since IQ 18 Films was born and the company has simply gone from strength to strength, and gained a superb reputation right across the world, too. Sadly Nik's no longer part of the company, although he's still part of the stunt and custom scene as you'll know if you read BSH and Streetfighters magazines. Veggie's still here, along with a number of names you may recognise from the end credits on the DVDs (you do read the credits, don't you?). PsychoBikerBen is our resident graphic artist, the man behind all of our covers and artwork (as well as the artwork for the films we make for people like Streetfighters); Tim Crowther is the poor bugger who keeps our PC network and editing suite running, even though the rest of us do our best to destroy all of his good work. And then there's Paul Gower, professional stunt rider, pro stunt instructor and the geezer we constantly rely on to get the job done.
